Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Jon, yes, it is physics, but you have to explain formulae for them to make sense. Is your argument that acceleration makes force? What makes acceleration?

We should just stick to the running in my opinion. This is about running faster injury free, that's what's important.

Mac, LOL. I'm not, I'm being pedantic about gravity!! :P

Actually being more sensible, it's quite a nice way to think of movement, in that movement is actually continuous and constant, not really something we create at all. For example, we are all actually moving all the time it's just that support gives us the perception of being stationary. Or in terms of einstein, we are stationary relative to our surroundings.

I agree, just trying to examine the stuff behind it and explain why I'm struggling to get to grips. Sorry if I've offended, particularly with my 'awful navel-gazing' Just like to be able to get things straight in my own head and thought this was a place to discuss the theory.

Pestomum, was the the result of my mass and gravitational acceleration? ;)

Bee, I wish I was a runner :(
