Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I find it difficult to sprint flat our with POSE.

JonP told me I need to lean and let the lean dictate the speed of my gait. I feel like if I lean anymore I'll fall over - what am I doing wrong?

UCTT: Probably slowly as I believe there is a graviotational pull on the moon, just not quite as much as on earth.

Dunc - the biggest problem comes from people applying the science of 'fixed' objects, to the human body which is constantly in a state of change through the running cycle.

Acceleration due to gravity (no I don't care if it a Force or a field or a cream cake) pulls us downwards. once we pass the point of balance (CoG ahead of Support point) the downwards force can only make us rotate about the fixed point. And the majority of THAT movement of Forwards
Remove the fixed point and we stop rotating....
Take support again...
Repeat...
Easy innit

When we can live on the moon I'm not sure there will be much point in POSE. The low gravity will minimise impact on the knees. The Steeplechase will lose it's appeal as well. :-(
