Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Long run with the club, 17 miles from Angmering to Brighton, against the wind on the seafront the whole way. I'm not good with running against the wind, it does seem to affect me more than most, and we have had a lot of wind lately. It has knocked my confidence a bit, as I have struggled to get any decent pace the last couple of weeks.
Bring on spring and summer.

Alloa half marathon today. Good 7 miles but struggled the rest due to a few niggles that have been ongoing. Just took my time and enjoyed it

Glad you enjoyed it Elduderino.

Stafford Half for me today but I was out of sorts and really struggled from around mile 6.

Alloa half marathon also. Forgot the old adage, dress for the 2nd mile & not the 1st. Had gloves on after waking up to snow, after a k my hands were too warm, left them with a pal spectating later in the race.

Pretty near perfect I’d have thought.

Cut it short again. I have been struggling with knee pain, it was just too bad today to carry on.
May have to lay off the running for a bit, which I'm not happy about at all

Couldn't resist an hour's trail-run even though I was feeling tired after yesterday's long run. Stopped for a snack-bar at the top of a local hill that translates as «wolf hill». Didn't see any, but met several dog-walkers.
