Chirunner - you burn a greater percentage of fat sitting in your sofa than you do running at any pace. However, you are NOT burning very many calories at all, so it's a Big Percentage of Not Very Much. As pace increases you will burn less calories as fat, but significantly more calories overall - the nett effect being More Fat Burning. (if you believe in all that stuff) |

If you want to "burn fat" like nothing else, you're in the wrong business here. Hit the Tabata Protocol, feel the pain. You'll be absolutely wasted, but there is nothing like it. |
