I have the opposite problem that I’ve tried to deliberately set it off (to test it) but haven’t managed to. The only time I’ve seen it in action, it got set off when I stuck my hands under a particularly enthusiastic hand drier, but after counting down it failed to send the alert and also stopped my walk recording.

The incident alert happened after I initially stopped for other reasons, then 7 mins later was taking the photos that I saw watch had gone to Defcon 1 and was about to send out warning messages to the world...!
