Chunky, I have no idea what that means in English 🤣 Badger, garmin does exactly that if you chose Imperial UK. Sigh, that would require a level of intelligence I don't have. 🤣 |

Sushi, it is possible to load 'apps' onto your watch to add functionality, see apps.garmin.com You download an app to your phone and then search for what you want, eg apps.garmin.com

I use both miles and km. If it's in front of me, it's in miles - if it's behind me, it's in km. So at half-way, I've already done 21.1 and only have 13.1 to go. #JediMindTricks (I've also got pretty good at multiplying by 5/8 and 8/5 ![]() |

Andy thats a bit like my theory that the last mile doesn't count as 'any sod can run a mile'

So at half way, I've done 21.1 and only have 12.1 to go? Even better! #StrongWithThisOneIsTheForce |

Yeah cos that last mike is a done deal. You ain't gonna stop at 25.2 and you're not going to stop knowing that 'any sod' could cover the distance left.

Is there anyone that has a fenix5X could do me a favour? Hook it up to a computer running Garmin Express, click on "Map Details" and let me know what maps are listed there? I'm convinced some have gone missing on mine, but can't be sure... |

Garmin Vivoactive 4 going fine so far. Except for Incident Alerting! Anyone know how this should work? It set it up by default (asking me for consent). Mile 5 of a 14 miler, think I'd stopped to take pics, watch buzzed a few mins later. Screen says "are you having an incident? Message will be sent in 5, 4, 3, ..." I managed to stop it sending out an alert to my In Case of Emergency ICE contact (my wife) with my co-ordinates etc. ![]() I've turned it off now. I was happy for the idea of it, but not if it's going to send out emergency messages when I stop to photograph (or water ) the primroses in a bog in a field! ![]() |

Thanks Gromit - I get a screen like this: "Map Details" is just below the "You're up to date!" message. When I click on it, I get this: (Garmin support don't seem to know what maps should be there...) |
