Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Have bumbled along in the -4000s for ages I decided to use my marathon training to have a decent push and see if I could improve my all time high score of about 1500 (set during my previous marathon training in 2017).

Today I’ve got to 4600! Mainly thanks to 9 bonuses for clearing all my bugs, but also a couple of profitable traffic lights. Two of my highest days are due to drop off (including my daily record of 596) so I suspect I’ve peaked for a while. I’ve got a lowish scoring block in the middle of the month so there is scope but it will take an effort!

Position 52 is also a PB :-)

Nice work, Pothunter - I'm just about to start the slog back from a -2000 score.

If you are a badge collector, it might help motivate you towards that effort to know that there is a badge available for 5000 points ...

Hmm, I do like a badge, but will lose about 900 points in the next 2 days with not much running on the plan. Supposed to do 6 miles today but got some bad chafing yesterday so might skip it. Tomorrow is a rest day anyway.

Need to find a nice central London traffic light :-)

If you can plant (and water) flowers a lot that'll help. Short term though, try and find a circle with plenty of someone else's bugs in and run over them.

If I run in central London that works, just have to dodge the traffic lights. Work not conducive to city running at the moment though. Not a cyclist either so flowers not as much of a bonus (although I have a bunch that are quite lucrative in the loop I use to get out my circle)

I have my highest score due to owning a traffic light on Westminster Bridge. 💰

Thanks NDW. You have made a small fortune from me over the years so it’s nice to get some back. I’m sure you used to own a lot more traffic lights in central London but there appears to be a more players in the area.
