But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. June would be perfect as usually have holiday. Its my birthday month.

I remember years ago prior a London marathon a group did a mile an hour then did the marathon I'd be up for that

Not the marathon mind

People (non fetchies think I'm nuts anyway) though some fetchies might agree.

I've voted July. I'm following this very closely. Are we looking for regional 'host' venues? I could very probably find a nice coastal location where folk in on or over the East Midlands and or Eastern that Yorkshire might like to spend a day.

Nice one DeeGee.

I think it would be nice to have this as a set of small get-togethers. We'll happily host some people at our house, and turn the garden into a field hospital :-) but will have to limit the number of people to make sure we don't annoy the neighbours.

There tends to be a lot of the major ultras in July (again to fit around school holidays etc) which might limit the take-up at the more extreme end. But then again, those peeps will probably be broken in August and September from their July efforts.

I thought it'd be good to have a thread for discussing F'Laps 2024 (Date 6th July 2024). Follow this thread if interested.

The Rules
1) You must run or walk your chosen distance (a choice of 4.167 miles, 5k, 2 miles or 1 mile) within each hour e.g. 9-9.59am, 10-10.59am, 11-11.59am.
2) Each participant must visit Fetch and hit the "Completed it mate!" link before the hour ends: fetcheveryone.com/flaps-checkin.php
3) If you're finding it too much, you can drop down to a shorter distance, or tap out.
4) The winner is the last person standing in each distance category.
5) You can participate on your own, or get together with other Fetchies.
