Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

C Block - there's no place like it.

But what of NDWDave's building? Have BMSC managed to regain control, or has it been necessary to escalate the situation and fly in Warriors from Indonesia?

Spare a thought for the IT people who really want to say "grab a cup of tea while we turn it off and back on again"

Quite literally in this case:

Good Morning,

We are aware of an issue with Outlook on certain machines in our Remote Desktop system (also known as ACN Remote Access). We have removed several machines from the pool of servers that would have had this issue and we are in the process of updating them. Please log out of remote access (using the guide here - help.uis.cam.ac.uk ), wait 20 minutes, and then sign in again. This should put you on a machine that does not have issues with Outlook being out of date.

We will update the individual servers and bring them back into the pool in due course. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Kind Regards,

Sorry, where were we.

We have four 'typologies'.

Home based agile worker: Works predominately (80% or more) at home only working in the office when required to do so.

Office Based Agile: Works predominantly (60% or more) in one office space. The rest of the time works at home or at other police site locations.

Blended Agile : Works a blend of home and police site working

Static :Works solely from one office within an office-based team. Some travel may be required to other police sites to discharge duty

I'm 'blended' through combination of role and seniority, which is all well and good.

As it is, going in two mornings a week makes me a bit of an outlier in that I go in more often than most.
