The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. As many of you were made aware, an issue was identified during final testing of the ‘-1’ Fiscal Year realignment project. This has caused the project to be postponed until a solution could be identified, implemented, and validated. Starting next week the SAP team and the internal project team will be validating the solution along with a few of the business users. If testing is successful, our new Go-live date for implementing ‘-1’ Fiscal Year changes into SAP will occur over the July 13-15, 2018 weekend.

We will update everyone as we complete the validation of the current changes, so please watch for additional communications!

if you have to wait until half way through the year before having a discussion with your manager I suspect things are more broken than a quick chat will fix.
