The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

There was a Project North Star in my last place of employment (and possibly there still is). The irony of it being restructured and large parts of the deliverables being "descoped" seemed to be lost on those in crage of it.

As you will know the lock to the changing room door has been faulty for many weeks now. Please can you all make sure that all your valuables are properly secured and also be extra vigilant and challenge anyone you do not recognise in the area.

Unfortunately yesterday when I went to the changing room I ended up having to clean some interesting drawings from one on the toilet cubicle doors and I am therefore assuming that this means the changing room has been accessed by someone who is not part of the [ ] team. We will be following his up with [ ] and security

I suspect this was deliberate, and perhaps belongs on the grammar pedants' thread, but I had to admire the sign in the office which says:
