Coopz This was the race where the calf muscle went again after about 5-6 minutes and I had to stop after 15 minutes for 4-5 minutes while I tried to stretch and massage the pain away; managed to finish the 10 miles and will be back next year as I enjoyed the race and the course. Hope to be about 10 minutes faster next time!

Turbo doesnt count Previous PB in this race was 1h 08m in 2000, very little chance of beating that!! I was right although slightly quicker than I expected. Ate too close to start which didn't help but pretty consistent pacing. Happy with that.

ndellar This will be the first race back after having my tonsils out, and having sat on the settee watching Jeremy Kyle eating salted crisps with a sore throat for 2-3 weeks recovering :-( I've entered this to try and motivate me back in to getting up to the longer distances again rather than looking for a PB.
