Oscar's Everyone Day

23rd June 2024
In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".

Sadly we lost Oscar in March, so I'd like to dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

mikep First event since Leeds Abbey Dash due to breaking a bone in my left foot.
Good test of the foot. Due to lack of training I found the last 3.5 miles really tough - the hill at 9 miles nearly did for me. Last mile in 9.02!!!.
Good showing from UKnetrunners.
I like this event it is quite tough and well organised.
Hopefully foot will not react to today and I can look forward to lot's of running this spring.

frangale my first 10mile race, so am pleased with time. tried to keep to 9.30m/m which I managed until mile 6 when for some reason i threw in a sub 9, felt fine until i saw how quick it had been which immediately had the effect of making my legs tired! if i sort out the gremlins in my head i reckon i can go sub 1.30 another time no problem Beverley AC 1:31:52 1:34:52 1:45:00 1:34:52 53.82
Tinywhitevan I wanted to try and do 1:35, so I'm really pleased with my time. It was a smashing race, although the last three miles had hills I wasn't expecting! Ackworth Road Runners & a.c., Go Veggie 1:23:04 1:32:43 1:32:43 53.28
