toffee Ian Rush (my blister) appeared at mile 5 - horrible, ugly red thing it is. Ok until mile 12 when lack of training and general knackeredness kicked in, felt awful and not sure how I managed to finish. Very enjoyable day and pleased to get under 2 hours. PJL Unfinished business after running last year with a chest infection. Defo PB. Race went perfectly to plan, despite a late arrival and uncomfortable night sleeping in the car! Found myself 1 min up on my target time at 10k, having made the most of the tailwind, but expected to be slower on the way back up. Eased off a bit when I needed to, and got into a comfortable rhythm along the undulating section, then dug in for the big hill. Got chatting to a runner from Kanvesmire Harriers as we swapped places a couple of times, and we ended up pushing each other for the last couple of miles. Thought I'd beaten him, but the chip times tell a different story! Well chuffed with ~100th place and a 12 min PB. :-) Unaffiliated 1:36:19 1:36:19 1:40:00 1:36:19 64.97
Angelplodder Bit scared about this one. I believe it is very hilly. Not bothered about a time, just want to run all the way and finish. Unaffiliated 2:21:00 2:21:00 2:25:00 2:21:00 50.68

Running Caz Will be by far the easiest 14M course I've done .... only got Race the Train at this distance. Would never normally say this .... but bet away if you know what's good for you ;-)

Tarmac Runner Previous 14 mile pb set at Race The Train so should think a pb is on the cards unless something goes wrong.: Had a good run but legs a little heavy after 10 miles due to previous weeks races but pleased with the time went through the half marathon point in 1:36:10.
