Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

21 quid to watch fireworks! That is disgraceful! Were they manufactured by Gandalf himself?

I helped run our Scout group's event last night. £4 per person.
And as well as the fireworks you get a proper big bonfire which this time nearly set fire to everyone when the wind changed. Exciting!

Sorry Dooogs not providing much competition this week. I had considered a nice wiggly in grid route but then decided proper training for my race at the end of the month was probably more beneficial.

19.6k around Nuuk which has pushed me into the lead for the first time this week! Let's see if it holds (doubt it). I don't have much chance to pick up anymore as the corner where I will be based is the one I've already conquered.

I did get 2 new conquersize zones for my troubles though by running the new road past the prison :)

So usually if I'm losing heavily on WSW on a Sunday I just accept the defeat. Today I decided to do something about it so I've just done a 16.5 mile urban bike ride to try and reclaim some squares from Chell. I'm currently by 123 to 50 and I'm just about to upload the ride. Let's see what happens...

So I'm now only down by 21 squares but I think I'm going to come up short as my morning commute doesn't cover that many :(

Well played Synge - sorry you had to miss out on your walk and hope whatever you did instead (in addition to the extra training) was just as enjoyable.

The weather today was better than forecast so I took myself out of grid in an attempt to stave off UTMOST relegation (failed) and achieve a 70% Race standard for the year (successful). I also got to cross possibly the most imposing finish line I've ever seen.

Lets see how next week goes :)
