Just blagged myself four corners in one walk (which ended up being 17 miles - much of it off grid - due to a combination of inconvenient geography and lack of river crossings). I almost certainly won't be four cornering again without moving my grid.
I also took the an opportunity to take my Garmin data field that shows which WSW grid square I'm in for it's first test-drive. It appears reasonably accurate, but drifts off a bit towards the outer edges of the grid. I put this down to:
1) Having to make a rough estimate of the GPS coordinates of the centre of my grid
2) Playing fast and loose with the geometry of projecting a sphere onto a plane and back.
1) Will probably need a bit of help from Lord Fetch
2) Will need me to actually do the maths correctly (but a hint from his Fetchness about his methodology would work wonders  )
But at least the idea feels reasonably sound.

Sorry Mrs Jigs, after collecting virtual gems, squishing and infecting virtual bugs, planting, watering, harvesting and picking virtual flowers, I decided to get a virtual dog and take her for a walk., see advice above. She's the best behaved virtual dog that I know. However she was a bit mardy, due to not going to the park on the south side of the grid. I did explain that there was this naughty woman who kept running and walking there and wasn't to be trusted. She's not happy having to go north through the estates. However I did promise her that next week that if she behaved herself we might be able to go to the park then. My wife reckons I'm a few gallons short of a firkin. Not sure why ?

Ohhh that wasn’t as painful as I’d set Myself up for Roberton. I’m off grid Saturday depending on time I get back on Sunday I may get a short rake/run in.

Wow great effort AndyS I cannot do 4 corners without a grid move. Amazing to do it in a one walk. Well done.
