Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Who's bottling it today?

I'm scheduled to do 7 miles today. I'm sat here in my running gear. The rain is stotting down and the wind is howling around. Anyone else chickening out or is it just me?

We went out for a bit (me, Katie and the dog). Katie is still getting over a virus, so she stuck with just under two miles. I should probably have dropped her off and done some more - but I felt like calling it a day there. So I did :-)

At least you got out there. I'm still sat here procrastinating.

It's not windy in this corner of the country and I'll do my planned run later. However, I expect to bottle my long run tomorrow in favour of an hour on the treadmill. Doing my long run this afternoon instead is a theoretical option but I don't foresee it happening.

I'm going to try again after lunch, which will mean after 3. I shall aim to have the wind behind me and get himself to pick me up 7 miles away. That is the plan. Don't hold your breath.

The weather outside my office window would stop me from venturing out, luckily the forecast is better for 7pm when I'll be helping with our club's C25K.

Good plan, minardi.

I've got the map and the weather forecast up, and could do a mostly wind-assisted long run if I asked eL Bee! to drop me off at his workplace tomorrow morning and ran home. However, I'm a little reluctant since the wind is forecast to be over 50mph and very wet. And there are some slightly exposed bits that wouldn't have a tail wind.

I'm sat at my desk, when i should already be walking to the gym.

It's a short walk, it's not raining.

I'm a lazy arse.

Come on, let's do this.
