Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

I want to get me some Pilates again, but I cannot workout where I could fit it! I'm doing a 20 min yogalates class at work one lunchtime a week, but I really want to pick up the long and strong hip extensions to help with my swim kick. Think I'm going to have to go back to my videos or find a new one. Any recommendations?

Generally I haven't yet found a bad 10 minute solutions DVDs and their pilates one is highly rated, and Stott Pilates tend to get rated well too, I have one. I do however have this kit which I thought about when you said swim kick:

johnlewis.com

It's the DVD plus the s-weights and it is a brutal brutal pilates workout.

Some good work going on in here :)

9 days left to get up to your Jan target.

I've been held back a bit by the snow, couldn't do my long ride at the weekend, bad times, and this weekend doesn't look much better either. And I have a cold. Pfffft. On the good side, I've run 71 miles this month already and cycled 900+ :)

I'm on 74 hours.

Awesome GF. Don't know how you can cycle in the snow. I don't mind running in it but cycling must sometimes be downright dangerous. Are you going to do an update from the group to the header or are you doing that only as a monthly round up? Either is fine, obv! :-)G

I'm not cycling in the snow. I'm doing it all inside coz I'm a chicken.

Dunno what to do with the header- what did we used to do?! Do I do it once a month or did we update more regularly before?!

Maybe if everyone does an update, tonight I could update the header anyway?

That's quite a lot, Gymfreak, innit? ;)

I've managed to do far more cycling outdoors than I thought I would this month. Some of it has been a little adventurous, but most of it has been OK in a cold sort of way.

Monthly updates sound fine to me.
