I'm just past 11.30 so keeping to the 1 hour a day plan so far. A bit more than an hour today and a long run of over 2.30 at the weekend and I know I'll still be ahead to start next week. I hope to fit in a bike ride and a swim at the weekend too but families can be awkward, right?

Haven't swum yet this year. Just running plus a couple of gyms and I'm at 17hrs, so well ahead. But swim and any other cross train is important. That's why I'm in this thread. Or maybe I should start another one tracking "Balance" - the proportion between run, other aerobic training and stretch/strength? But the boy Fetch doesn't have numbers that support that terribly well. But I know when I'm not doing enough.
Must.Swim.Tonight.
Good work Nellers and everyone else achieving their Training Time targets at this point in the year. :-)G

I'm very slightly behind my 'nearly an hour a day' plan, but only just. I haven't had as many days off work as I should this week so will be making up for lost time today. This is shaping up to be a great January, possibly the best ever.

Only 03:21 for me so far this year, in my defence I have only just started back into training after a year out due to illness. I seem to be doing more X training at the moment than running however my runs have been less than 30 minutes until I build up a little fitness. Once I start to increase the miles I will probably fund it easier to stay on track. Hoping to get out on the bike at the weekend...if the snow stays away!!

Managed a 1.3 mile run/walk today Back still stiff but manageable but don't think I could have done 5k A bit limited for cross training really - nervous about anything on the bike as that is possibly one of the things that contributed to my bad back. Missing spinning tomorrow. Return to pilates on monday Will try some core/strength but stay off the planks in the next couple of days. Swimming planned for Tuesday
I may actually consider doing a brisk walk and logging that.

Helped today by being about 20s/mile slower on the bike than usual. Over 60 miles, that's 20 extra minutes of training
