Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Of course you're lightheaded. Considering the known side effects of the pills your GP has prescribed and the pills you borrowed off a mate and found, like, really really helpful, I'm surprised you're able to lift your eyelids.

Arranging to go for a bike ride with a looked-after child during the summer holidays is a lovely idea!

I'm not getting through, am I? Do not, ever, allow someone to book an appointment on THAT pretext and then specify that they should be seen by me. DO NOT EVER. I realise that someone has to do those consultations, but that's not what I'm here for, it's not what this service is supposed to be doing, and you couldn't pay me enough.

I understand how it’s reasonable for my husband’s employer to pretty much literally expect him to be on Teams meetings all day every day - no time to do other work, no time to take a break from the screen, often no time to eat and precious little time to even use the toilet. [If it’s not acceptable in the office, why is it acceptable at home?]

My ankle looks great and isn't swollen at all. 1 month is more than long enough to recover from a sprained ankle once someone reaches middle-bloody-age. It's a great idea to run this 30.6km trail race on Saturday.

Dear BBC, I am thoroughly pissed off with your relentless attitude this week that 'wearing masks in shops is going to be ignored/a huge problem/going to cause unrest which the police cannot or will not deal with.' The vast majority of people will comply just as they have in Scotland.
