Pikelet - I think there might have been a problem with National Rail enquiries database that day as I was trying to book tix through East Coast trains website and I had the same issue a couple of times with it changing the time of the train I booked - gremlins in the system? I agree with DeeGee though - don't buy tix from trainline - always the most expensive.

I've sent you 2 emails to 2 different email addresses plus a text. Pull your fucking finger out and do the 2 simple things you've said you'd do. Otherwise I'm chucking a tantrum and cancelling the whole fucking thing and it will be your fault. I already have 2 children who ignore every request I make: you're 15 years older than them and a fucking adult: I'm not going to put up with you acting like I'm your mum for much longer, you lazy fucking slug.

I don't constantly feel the urge to run away when at work. I don't look out of the window and imagine just running as far away from here as possible and then running some more just to be sure. I haven't spent most of today wondering how long we could manage without my salary, because the thought of even one more day here makes me want to howl.

I'm confused. You're "working from home" but when you're asked to join a Skype meeting, you can't do it because your broadband isn't working? How exactly are you actually working without that?

[Duchess - I was snowed in once after 4" overnight but at the office location (40 mls away) they'd had hardly any. I detected a vibe of them not quite believing me so sent them a photo to prove it - that shut them up!]

[I've had that before as well - in the days before mobile phones and email. I was at risk of losing a day's pay for unauthorised absence until the local news covered the localised weather that evening.]
