Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I did a midnight run once purely to give me maximum recovery time before a marathon. Was an interesting experience.

I've done a couple of relays during lockdown organised by the RED community on FB.
I've done my normal Friday run, stopped up til 1am Saturday, then run again, then gone to bed. Don't run all day Sat, go to bed and run on Sunday.
Feels like I've missed a day!

One weekend I ran my relay at stupid o'clock, then did a long run during the day - died a thousand death. Then I realised I'd run 16 miles in a short window of time with about 4 hours sleep. No wonder I felt shocking!!

I've not forgotten to run, but often procrastinate until gone 10pm. I have slipped out at 11:45 before in a complete mardy with myself. But that's my own stupid head that needs sorting out, not the Streak's fault!!

Cackleberry one thing I do find with streaking is that it sorts my head out regularly, perhaps every day🤪

I am usually out by 5am most weekdays! It’s a difficult thing for me to forget, I usually wake up before the alarm! This morning it was 4am!

Limegreenjelly that time of day is totally alien to me.

The odd time I have run really early, it's clunky and stiff legged and horrible. BUT I do have a warm feeling of smug satisfaction for the rest of the day.

Sorting the head out is one of the reason why the streak keeps winning :)

Fragile Do Not Bend
No way would I go running that early, well not whilst it’s dark anyway. I might if I lived somewhere with street lights but I don’t like running solely by torchlight.

Love my headtorch runs Fragile, but at the same time sooooo ready for long sunny evenings.

The first non-headtorch headtorch run of the season is always special.
