Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Me too Gimme!
I read it years ago at uni, in fact I joined the English lit students in a work group about the book. Reading you excerpts makes me enjoy and recall :)

So, so far I have had another micro holiday on the seaside, one night, with my sister. Loving it!

Other than the new hoover ;) I struggle to find new things I actually want to start. I am too busy!
I feel sticking with one high quality thing: my micro holidays to the seaside, is best :)

Today’s episode was a bit tricky to follow in places - the unconventional use of punctuation doesn’t help - but here goes.
(Pages 177-210) Steven Dedalus is in the library, discussing the works of Shakespeare - particularly, but not exclusively, Hamlet (yep 30 pages of this). Buck Mulligan arrives and reads out the telegram he has received from Steven, saying he will not join him and Haines at The Ship; Haines isn’t happy as he’s been waiting hours for a drink. Mulligan tells Steven to go with him and as they are leaving, Leopold Bloom passes between them.

This is the first time that Bloom and Dedalus (the son) come into direct contact with each other. I wonder if this is significant?

jelly (limegreenjelly)
I’ve started a new job (warehouse operative) did my first 12 hour night since 2003 last night! I probably overdid the caffeine and now I’m going back in for night 2 on not enough sleep! Still I’m on a part time 2 on 6 off kind of shift!
