Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

209 miles for December, my highest month since Jan 2022. But as a year, 1388 miles, abysmal my lowest since 2007.

I'm hoping back to 2000+ miles for 2025

I ran 10k in the whole of 2023 due to long covid. Running more in 2025 than 2024 will be more of a challenge..

Looking at me graphs of running fail years -->
2010 - 861 miles
2015 - 978 miles

Back once again in 2024 with 187 miles (301km), mostly from last 3 months.

I'd like to beat years 2010 and maybe even 2015 in 2025.

Problem, apart from history of fails, is equal emphasis on strength training. So how to balance time and effort, rest and recovery for both strength and endurance, yet still get in the miles? We'll see. I have a plan... :)

476km up on last year (no major injuries or Covid this year!), 17km short of 2022 (bug over Christmas cost me that one, I wa ). Well short of 2020/2021, well up on every other year.

713 miles last year.
1092 mikes this year.

Am, however, finishing the year with a crocked ankle and a major question mark over my planned big event for the spring.

892 km this year, 626 last year. (And 462 in 2023.)

Furthest year since 2016. (32 ahead of 2017, 468 behind 2016.)
