I’m up with my parents, @Pinks so we wasn’t quite sure what and where we were going.

Had a lovely walk on the beach with the iron men and then found Switts’ bench. There was a lady sitting on it so we had a lovely chat and told her about Steve and she chatted about her trips she used to make including somewhere where my Dad used to go on holiday too with his parents and she chatted about sitting on Steve’s bench before and she loved hearing about fetch. I took the new shirt up to show him.

Such a quiet spot. We all sat there for a bit and chatted to other folk walking past too - including a lovely big dog called Diesel 😀 Perfect community space for it to be.

Never met him in person but always came across as a lovely man.

If you read about his nightly beach runs you could almost have been running along beside him.

He always encouraged others especially on the How was your run thread.
