I'm claiming my swim this morning. Pushed for time again, my front crawl sets were significantly faster than they usually are. Gave it some welly.

Good stuff folks :)

I’m claiming a prep for quality session - 30 second hard efforts - not quite a sprint with 30s walks between - something to get the legs turning over and me breathing a bit harder again after an unintended break from anything of effort.

2 X 13 minutes at LT effort today with 90s recoveries. Not my greatest pace wise but it's only the second piece of proper speedwork I've done since VLM as had to be careful of a knee that was getting angry. Have lost a bit of fitness but it will come back again 😅

Oooof I am feeling well qualitied: 10 x 500m @ 5k-10s pace, 1 min rest - with a hill! Focussing on my “A frame” positioning, knees up, elbows back. Knackering but feels really good :D

We did some drills with big elastic bands to remind us about arm position, which was also new…
