Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I touch base with it in the hopes it will spur me to do intervals but I rarely do ;-)

Well done JJ.

My threshold run this morning really wasn't one. My left calf was a bit twitchy and my hips tight after a PT session yesterday. Also my head wasn't in it, so I ended up walking a bit and was way off target pace. Not sure whether to log it, or play my joker.

Scribbler, if you get a chance to redo the tempo run then forget it, if not then log it or joker it but put an explanation in your training log as to why it wasn't really a tempo run. I put lots of stuff in my training logs just in case I want to refer back, more so if it's a training plan.

That's exactly what I've done FF :-) I won't get chance to redo it. It's a shame but I always have to do 2 runs on consecutive days to balance out other training and make time for family.

If I was to do 2 runs on consecutive days for PJ I'd do either tempo / intervals followed by the long run, although I suppose time constraints can be a factor. At least that would give a chance of recovery before the next hard session.

Cause I have taken to early morning runs before my work and my long run is a Saturday it’s my intervals that’s not getting done. My 5 miler this tue and wed Were a minute faster than each run last week so happy with that.
