Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done on all the proper man-type press-ups going on. I missed mine yesterday but will do my 3 x 5 today.

The MT rules are very slack Flyboy. The only rule is that all three sets have to be done within the same session so two mins recovery is fine. Personally I'm happy to get even slacker and say all three sets have to be done on the same day. I guess you can start where you like. I am very weak at the moment but even I found three sets of one press-up a bit silly.

I might join in on this one...though my pushups are going to be girly ones as my upper body strength is completely non-existent, then again 3 x 1 should be all right doing the proper ones.

So how far do you go? Will you still be doing it in a years time 3 x 365 push ups that would be seriously cool

I'm thinking get up to 3x33 and then work to more on the first 2sets and dropping the last, ending up at 2x50 say

About This Thread

Maintained by Dogtanian
Start on day 1 with 3 x 1 press up. On day 2 move to 3 x 2 and keep increasing by one every day. If you fail to do the target for the day then you try the same number the next day, only increasing when you have done the session properly. The Marathon talk challenge is to get to 3 x 100 push ups.

There are no real rules except all three sets must be done in the same session though. No going to wash your hair/walk the dog in-between sets:-).
