Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Is anyone else doing the MarathonTalk pushup challenge? The rules are to go three sets of push ups starting at 3 x 1 push up and increasing each day, so on day 2 you do 3 x 2 etc.

Mrs. D and I are up to a whopping 3 x 4 push ups :-O (she's doing girlie push ups and I'm doing the proper Manly ones :-))

I wasn't doing it, but sounds like a laugh. Where's the group and spreadsheet though???

If you do three sets, can you do one in the morning, one at lunch and one before bed?

Well, that was what I hoped but on the podcast I listened to the other day they were very clear that all three sets must be done in a single session...you can't go and wash your hair in-between. Still, if you space them out throughout the day it's better than not doing anything at all in my book.

If people are interested we could all start from 1 as a group. I'd be happy to go all the way back to the start :O)

I was dabbling and I got up to 3 X 4 last week but nothing since. If we got a group going it might give me the push I need.

3 x 4 for me last night. Felt a bit tight towards the end of the last set! This is going to be tough I think, but I obviously need it!

Anyone else joining in the fun?

About This Thread

Maintained by Dogtanian
Start on day 1 with 3 x 1 press up. On day 2 move to 3 x 2 and keep increasing by one every day. If you fail to do the target for the day then you try the same number the next day, only increasing when you have done the session properly. The Marathon talk challenge is to get to 3 x 100 push ups.

There are no real rules except all three sets must be done in the same session though. No going to wash your hair/walk the dog in-between sets:-).
