My mum is getting on with my Whitby pattern gansey. She struggled getting it started and then following the pattern when it got more complicated. She says it's easily the most complicated thing she has ever knitted, made more so by the dark wool. I got her a good light to work by. I think it will be done by the summer as she's half way up the arm gussets - all done as a tube and a continuous knit down the sleeves. Here's a paler version to see the pattern.
I'm really excited to wear it. It will be an heirloom as well.

Very nice Groundhog. Patterns can be challenging to keep track - one aran sweater I made had one cable going the wrong way, but I didn't find it until it was way too late to go back and fix it.

Thats a great jumper.

I am currently making myself an aran cardigan and am on the 2nd pattern. Its also a one piece knit - so back and sides all in one go - it's fun 🫣
