Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

It’s just granny squares and two sleeves. It wasn’t hard at all and I’m not very good . You could make this.

Got a new granddog - a rescue greyhound. Anyone got recommendations for dog knitting patterns. My son and his girlfriend are very tolerant so...

I've made a couple of these

My only comment would be to check gauge really well, even wash your test square, as the ones I made stretched out hugely after a few wears.

Morning all this is proving to be a labour of love. Every square will have the 6th row in the blue but I’m going to add that’ 6 th row in when I’ve finished all the squares. This is the first project I’ve done where I’ve not started 6 others whilst I’m doing it !!

Did anybody else watch Happy Valley? There was a moment a crochet blanket featured, I was hoping it was wool and not acrylic. Also the implication that one of the characters had made it, which fits with all the jumpers she wore, as well as Catherine’s scarf. (I was wondering why one sleeve of a variegated jumper matched the body but not the other, I guess it was to complete the handmade look, great attention to detail)

I’ve just started on happy valley. The recap confused me as although I’ve deffo seen first 2 series I couldn’t remember anything about it really (then I realised it was 2014 and 2016 and I thought no wonder I’ve forgotten!)

I love that crochet jacket.

The thought flashed through my mind that I might try to learn crochet in order to make it, and then I remembered:

FOMO is real and un-necessary.

I do not need to learn another skill.

I do not need another project.

I do not need another jacket.

So I will admire from afar.

Likewise with Happy Valley - I wish I'd seen it from the beginning, but will try to persuade myself that the hours spent on a potential catch-up can be used more profitably elsewhere.

I am very impressed Helegant!

I still love the Gansey top and would like to do one but am admiring from afar ATM whilst I do my chevron blanket to use up yarn

I may then try the sampler from that book I bought
or try some crochet as I've not down that for ages!
