Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I have a an unusual piece of kit for sale (having a clear-out) that is a bit niche and probably only appeal to those who have an interest in the UTMB or similar. It's a WAA (French) Ultra Carrier Shirt, I bought it at one of the UTMB "trade salons" in either 2015 or 2016, it was hideously expensive at the time, but I was a bit caught-up in all the excitement and was unsupervised ..... that's my excuse anyway :-)

It's size L, that equates to a snug UK medium. It's never been worn and is in perfect condition, I don't think you'll find another of these anywhere for sale. It has food and kit storage in the mesh pockets at the back, sort of like a bike jersey but more secure. Comes with it's own little storage pouch, not unlike the ones you get with Castelli kit. £40 ono and it's yours. I recall it cost way over £100.

Nice piece of kit! I can only imagine how lumpy that would be, with or without stuff in the pockets in my case!

Well, it is an extremely snug-fitting piece of kit. Bobs (my wife) informed me that I looked like a condom stuffed with conkers when trying it on, probably the reason why I never wore it!

depending on what/how much you're carrying I can imagine it's very useful or not as practical in reality as it might be... (coming from someone who actively chooses to run in cycle jerseys *because* of the ability to stash a few extras on top of or instead of some other form of carrier)

I was about to say it’s a running version of a cycling top

And panad that’s a great idea I have loads of extra tops now with that thought!
