Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Me changing the thread title was also offensive, it seems. Everyone's different.

Thanks Fetch :)
I guess words mean more to some people than others.

There are some things that make me see red too Hann, I appear to be in the minority on one of them - swearing creatively and scrolling on is the answer.

fetch: would be great if you'd implement the ignore function, that's been suggested loads of times. Then whoever gets offended can add it to their ignore list. I know there are lots of things I'd like to add to my ignore list!

Thanks for the new thread title Fetch :-)

I get very cross reading stuff on social media all the time, but I generally just ignore it, unless I really feel the need to call someone out

Good morning, not skinny people! Anything to report today? I had a bit of a binge weekend, scales were up 2.5kg in one day! That was Monday morning, down 1.2kg yesterday morning, and right back to my Sunday weight today.

Some people say you should treat your weight as a range, I actually think it's more like a probabilistic function like quantum theory or something. Today it is 5% probable that I've reached my goal weight :)

I'm up and down but still about the same in the grand scheme of things
I'm planning to try and stop the weekday piggery with the hope that this might see the scales move
but tiredness and training mean it's hard
'cos my head has always been Am tired need energy, food is energy, need food

AZX, You describe exactly why I resorted to weighing once a week!
Happily and more comfortably in the old belt notch. I shall dare a weigh in this weekend :) if I am at my target weight, I will have reached it in 4 months...
