Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

@Ness hadn’t registered the weight of your comment about the running stopping, much sympathy.

Thanks, badger. It was a bit of a surprise that the resurfaced hip has finished the end of it's useful life quite so suddenly but I'll adapt.

So basically, do nothing and sleep...I obviously ignored this and got my 3rd fastest 5k of the year and 4th fastest of the last 8 years. ITBS was grumbling by the end but I think Iay just have to do what my Garmin does and ignore that until September and hope it doesn't get too painful.

I don't have that training readiness assessment on my Garmin. Maybe it's a good job!

Yesterday I felt like crap, combination of several nights poor sleep, women's issues etc. My Garmin rewarded me by telling me "My restful day had speeded up recovery".

Erm, no, I was too lethargic and nauseous to be arsed raising my HR, I wasn't resting, quite the opposite.

I wish we could give it more in the way of feedback.

Apparently I'm "29% adapted to the heat" (whatever that means). First time I've seen this kind of notification...

Well, in two weeks I'll be in Miami - where the temperature tomorrow is forecast to be the same as here tomorrow :-)

Good chance to acclimatise :-)

Be glad they have air con as standard, the high may be the same but the low is a sweaty night in bed! 🙈

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
