Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

If you can get to Keighley you could get a steam train up to Oxenhope on the KWVR :-)

I've not been on the KWVR for years (since I was at school) - mainly because it's really expensive!

Think it cost my mate £9 from Keighley to Haworth for an orienteering event a few years back. The train to Keighley from leeds was <£6 return at the time.

I cycled from Keighley to Haworth.

We joined as members when we moved here and make a session of it taking snacks and board games etc. A single is expensive especially if it’s only part of one-way

This is sad. How many here have traversed that same path? Quite a few I bet.

Yeah, I know that path - I wouldn’t have considered it dangerous, but I guess this is a tragic reminder how bad luck can hit us all. Very sad indeed; he was younger than me.

There's bad luck and there's heading out to the high mountains in the teeth of a massive storm in February!
