I must confess to be dismayed by the price now, the last time I ran it (2014) it was only £7 in advance, it seems to me against the spirit of fell running to go up so much in such a short time. In South Wales anyway, fell is the last bastion of non-ripoff race entries.

My Salomon speed cross shoes didn't hold up at all very well, slippery on rock, and painful underneath from the rocks, good once back on the road..bit late then though! Will be back next year though, loved it. Need to buy some proper fell shoes I think..
