Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Just had a good neb at that Kettlewell route, interesting - not at all predictable. Goes over some bits of the Dales I haven't visited before, the line down into Hawkswick looks interesting. 22.3 miles, 3,700ft of climb.

You should come orienteering, hawkswick clowder above arncliffe is one of AIRE's best areas. We had the British champs up there last year.

We're using the fell above Conistone for our Sales weekend in sept.

I believe the planned for the Sunday event (s end of the area) is a right b*****d ;-)

Gus, sure your Fenix 5 does have grid refs without any additional widgets. It's been there since at least the Fenix 3HR in the initial releases of firmware (and I'm reasonably certain on all Garmins with mapping since the 310 - def the 310 & 910). I think you can add it to the map page (definitely can on the 5+) and can display it as a data field.

Just been out on the Worth Way. Plenty of mud, puddles etc. Run out cut short after we ended up in a thunder storm :-O

DT - were you attempting this? wharfedaleharriers.co.uk

I'm going to give it a go in the Spring when a bit drier. But I'll start/finish from Keighley station instead of Oxenhope as suggested as it means the out and back at the start/end rather than the middle and also I can then do it sans automobile (train direct to keighley)

fozzy kind of yes and no. Yes we were going to have a run round but tbh I forgot there was a challenge. I’ve run round three times in the distant past and walked round a few times since moving to basically live on the route a couple of years ago
