Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Given the politics associated, I'd be happier if Jan never ended.

I will be missing both Newlands and Coledale this year, sadly. Both great races.

I’m basically doing any time on feet I can for the Hobble. Parkrun followed by a long-ish walk tomorrow

We're heading to the Carneddau on Sunday too for the first of the year's Kong mini mountain marathons. Hoping for some winter conditions if Damian Hall's Paddy pics are anything to go by.

Rombald's Stride done. Westerly wind made it a bit difficult, straight into it going across Ilkley Moor, at times it just stopped you in your tracks :-( I'm afraid that put paid to any aspirations I might have had to go sub-4, finished in 4:04 in the end. Tough day.

Have they changed the CPs on Baildon moor NE?

Everyone seemed to go straight over and then slogged along that horrible path by the road rather than taking the lovely straight line descent following the trods to the cattle grid.

Hmm. Perhaps we're talking about a different part of the route then.
