1st Lap done, I gave up on logging one big long run after discovering my garmin won’t do “pause/resume” on treadmill runs .. 🤦‍♀️ as said earlier on at least those following me in the orange site will be well aware of F’laps by this time tomorrow 😂😂😂

Lap five was harder. Up to 22° now. I figure 5 laps is a proper long run, 6 laps is no mans land, 7 laps goes over a marathon and if you can do that, you can do lap 8 you make it a proper ultra.

Lap 1 done. Hadn't planned on hitting the tarmac this early but that bug wasn't going to squish itself. Quick drink and change of shoes so I can get onto the trails.

Lap 4 done, the first 2 were 5k runs and now switched to 2 mile walks. I am just walking straight out of town and seeing where I end up!

Laps 3 and 4 done. 3 was horrible, but 4 with a running buddy was much better.

I thought it'd be good to have a thread for discussing F'Laps 2024 (Date 6th July 2024). Follow this thread if interested.

The Rules
1) You must run or walk your chosen distance (a choice of 4.167 miles, 5k, 2 miles or 1 mile) within each hour e.g. 9-9.59am, 10-10.59am, 11-11.59am.
2) Each participant must visit Fetch and hit the "Completed it mate!" link before the hour ends: fetcheveryone.com/flaps-checkin.php
3) If you're finding it too much, you can drop down to a shorter distance, or tap out.
4) The winner is the last person standing in each distance category.
5) You can participate on your own, or get together with other Fetchies.
