Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

She may well be Linds and if not it's quite kind of you to ascribe her behaviour to it rather than it being who/how she is.

Thanks. I think it's easier for me to think she's become selfish than to recognise she's always been that way.

Can I say some nice things about @LindsD ?

She is kind, compassionate, friendly, funny, a pleasure to spend time with (and I have only met her once)

Haven't had the pleasure of meeting Linds but that's pretty much my opinion too.

Also: After someone dies, if their home insurance was only in their name, sadly the cover becomes void. But if the policy was in joint names, it will still cover the surviving policyholder (though the names on the policy will need to be updated).

Pension Credit. The rules are a bit complex but if your elderly relative has some sort of disability (in this case dementia/Alzheimer's) and go into a home, they may be able to claim pension credit. So if carers allowance stops, it seems pension credit can start. It can also be backdated.
