Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nice, HP. I’ve also been a bit gloomy - hoping a bit of sunshine helps the newts flow again.

The end of my street is another street. The other end is a main road.

I’m the end of my street. :-)
I suspect I’m known as ‘that house with the annoying barking dog and the wonky fence.

It’s less pretty than HP’s.

I have used a rechargeable hoover for the first time. No wires and plugs! Time we pensioned old Henry off, I thought. But it ran out of charge before I could do the stairs!

This is at the bottom of my street. There's a big street market at the other end, a lot more colourful and lively - even at the moment - but I haven't got a pic of that

Nice Sharkie. Actually there is a church at the top of the street here too but not quite as grand. I like the idea of a street market close by. I don't suppose the fish van in the car park once a week is quite the same.

I'm going, Sharkie! Just need to do another car hospital run with my father first. It's nice out here too, though not warm.

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
