I'll have a go today or tomorrow and see how far I get -- could be a useful weekly fitness benchmark!
based on my 5000m PB I'm likely to be about the 3300-3400 mark but probably less at the moment. And I have DOMS from starting the 100 pushups challenge!

PH just take the stroke rate down slightly -- if you're rowing at 26spm say on level 3 then try 22spm on level 5

Ooh, i'm going to have a go at this i think.
Haven't rowed for about a month but i managed 5k in 21:42 last time, so all out i would like to get to nearly 4k.
This is the torture machine as far as i am concerned, and the machine that gives my highest HR, i might measure that too, last tme i did it, got to 196

You need to add Johnny O's very respectable distance....

BTW, I've been told that the resistance doesn't make it easier or harder regarding pace (distance over time - the subject of this challenge). 10 at a slower stroke rate = 1 at a higher stroke rate, but you'll get same distance for equivalent "effort". It's a different style not a harder difficulty. Does this make sense? Is it right?! :-)G
