Yesterday was the retirement presentation - many thanks to all for my card and collection– but today is the reality of my last day. I am very happy to be leaving, but after over 34 years with the company, a last day feels very strange.

I certainly have a lot of memories to take away with me and every time I use my hybrid-trail-bike (retirement award from the company), I can think of you still working hard !!

Please join me at lunch-time across the road in the <local pub> for a traditional retirement farewell drink.

I shall wander around the building to say goodbye to the many I know well, but if I miss anybody out , I wish you wealth, health and happiness for the future.

I’ve learned an incredible amount in my time here since January, initially working on <Project1>, then moving to <Project2>and most recently <Project3>.
It’s been a nice place to work, most of you are cool, and I leave having had some good times, and made some friends for life.

I didn’t bring any cake, but I’m gonna pour up a few cups of chilled water and leave them on my desk if anyone wants one.

It’s time to say thanks and good bye to all, for supporting me and allowing me to expand my skills and Knowledge.

I take this opportunity to thank people.

<Project1> – my first project <Company1>which is always close to me. Thanks to <A, B, C, D & E> team supporting me during the Development and Testing phase.

<PM> allowed me to bring down the Performance test to inhouse. Which made us to create Performance test to other application like, <Random list of software applications>

<F & G> allowed me to expand and enhance the Automation frame. Which helped to automate and create regression suite for following application <Random list of different software applications>

I also thanks Offshore Team to accept and use our automation frame work for <two more random software applications>.

I would like to thank all the Automation team member <Messrs H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O & P> making the automation frame work to mature level.

I appreciate <Q> and pushing himself and learning into Automation Testing and <R> to take over the Performance test.

I would like to thank all the Test team member to supported me during faces of testing in <Company1>.

Special thanks to <S & T> for supporting me when needed help on <Yet another software application>.

I would like to thank all the <Chennai Stars> Team, helped me when needed. Specially <U> during <yet another application> Testing

I thank <V>, allowed me to demonstrate my development skill in form of creating Testing Dashboard.

I invite you all for leaving drinks at the <pub in a different town> from 5.30pm today. So make sure your all there!!
