Oscar's Everyone Day

23rd June 2024
In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".

Sadly we lost Oscar in March, so I'd like to dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

C Block - there's no place like it.

We have Town Halls now. FFS. The CEO stands up, tells us we're all twats then goes away and pockets another million. That's what I get from it anyway.

We too have Town Halls...the MD tells us how brilliantly the company's doing and how happy our customers and staff are, and we look at each other and wonder what planet he's on...

Next: the "General Election in the Safe Seat". The MD/CxO comes, mouths platitudes, is applauded and goes away for five years.

We had a 'staff survey' the results of which were supposed to be announced at the Town Hall. It didn't happen. Word on the street is that the results were the worst the company has ever had by a long long way and spinning it has proved difficult.
