Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Quite right sioux - proud mum is perfectly justified. I wonder if he'd sprint/jog it now or run more steadily? That's such a nice memory. Wee star!

Yes sallykate, everything counts if it's something that you feel is taking you forward. And the whole idea is to push your numbers to meet YOUR goals! Go for it! :-)G

What a great idea, no idea how much I normally do in a year but I'll give it a shot. I do run but also do tonnes of walking and am trying to do core excercises too. I have a feeling that along with my running it's going to be over achieved!!

added another half hour by cycling to and from uni to drop off a form, rather than my usual laziness of mopeding! 3 whole hours total, woop! :Pl

Er...Just a query... In the header where people have put their time achieved, ie, 5.26 or whatever, is that as in a decimal place like 26/100ths of an hour or is in in minutes, in which case it wouldn't be a decimal point? I'm not good at maths so won't be doing the %

I dont think it matters a huge amount as long as you know which you've used, but your training log should give it in hours and minutes so probably easiest :)

I've used minutes ie 11:10 is 11 hour and 10 minutes -- cos it was easier as Isabel said

Mine is in hours and minutes but that then means % figure is not wholly accurate...

About This Thread

Maintained by Legless
A thread for those feeling left out by all the "1000 miles in 2011" threads etc Let's track Hours instead of Miles!

WHATEVER YOU CLASS AS 'TRAINING' COUNTS AS TRAINING.

To get your name in lights here on the thread header, please join the group, then keep a note of your target and progress in there. I'll copy it in here periodically!

Hour targets...
Target . . . Aug ... Sept ....... Oct ..........Nov
% . . . 66.6% ... 74.8% ...... 83.3% .....91.8%
200 . . . 133.2 ... 149.6 ....... 166.6 ......183.6
250 . . . 166.5 ... 187.0 ...... 208.25 ......229.5
300 . . . 199.8 ... 224.4 ....... 249.9 ..... 275.4
365 . . . 243.1 ... 273.02 ..... 304.0 ...... 335.1
400 . . . 266.4 ... 299.2 ...... 333.2 ..... 367.2
500 . . . 333.0 ... 374.0 ....... 416.5 ..... 459.0

Remember, you can set your own target. Doesn't have to be 365 hours. Doesn't even have to be annual. Could be, "I will do 20 hours training in March." or "I will average 3 hours a week for the next 3 months." or "I will do 150 hours for the rest of the year." or whatever. You decide it, plan it, state it, then let's all go do it!!
