Oscar's Everyone Day
Sunday 23rd June 2024In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".
Sadly we lost Oscar in March, so I'd like to dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

About this parkrun

As I slowly progress to a goal of being under 100kg I have not clicked a recent best time. This is good as next week my path takes me to my first 10km in Greenwich. My preparations are slow but deliberate.

A bit crowded at the start but everyone soon spreads out on this 3-lap course which is mostly flat, with a nice little downhill near the finish to aid acceleration for that final home sprint.
