Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

ChrisU Stunning sunny weather at Strathclyde Loch. Clocked a PB by 40 seconds. Finished 9th overall and 3rd vet. Amazing number of obstacles en route - children on tricycles, dogs on leads, dogs off leads, walkers, joggers, cyclists - all of whom appeared oblivious that there was a race going on!

Ticketyboo Great weather for February brought out all the prams, bikes, dogs and walkers to Strathclyde Park turning this into an obstacle race.

Happy with my time but would seriously think twice before doing another race in Strathclyde Park after the lack of consideration shown by a significant number of other park users.

Lindz Disappointed with the time, but not bad considering had to jump round lots of buggies and dogs!

Dave_K Nice run around the paths instead of the road, despite having to dodge obstacles. Pleased with my time, getting back to my personal best. More training needed !!

Ellem Just had sight of results and my time was better than I thought 50.45 instead of 50.53 - must have forgotten to stop my watch quickly again!! I had a good race and was only 40 seconds outside my PB. Beautiful day and thoroughly enjoyed it but have now got a sore throat and cold!!

Supervixen Nice weather and a large turnout for this race, unusal for strathclyde park in that it was an out and back rather than round the loch. By the time I got to the turn point there was nae water left! Adventurous run with the moving chicanes of peeps and animals. Regardless of this, managed a PB so am delighted.
