We’ve been out for toilet and now he is crying/howling - wanting to get up. Has anyone had this - he’s 19 weeks. He was so good at night. I can’t cope with this. No idea what to do.

If he doesn't need out, doesn't need water and hasn't injured himself - then I would try to keep toughing it out and not give him the attention he's seeking (or set the precedent that howling gets him that attention). Easier said than done though! ps. Whippets are sharp pointy dogs, and do not make great sofa or bed companions!
