Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Very handsome. And you are right, I can completely see arlo in him, if arlo was hairier and wasn't a skinny mutt.

I keep thinking he will fill out but then I've been looking at other cockers on Instagram who are older and just as skinny as him, so maybe he won't.

To be honest if you see Ernie wet he’s quite slim. My sister has made comments about it before but vet is happy he’s a healthy, athletic dog. Of course being a cockapoo he’ll be bigger than Arlo.

Albie has gone from sleeping through the night to crying (yesterday it was midnight and tonight it is right now - a bit over an hour after bed). We’ve been out for toilet and now he is crying/howling - wanting to get up.

Has anyone had this - he’s 19 weeks. He was so good at night.

I can’t cope with this. No idea what to do.

We went to bed at 10pm.

He sleeps on the landing outside my bedroom. He’s working himself up into a bit of a frenzy. I’m just waiting it out but it’s awful.

Headphones and deep breaths? You're doing the right thing.

If he doesn't need out, doesn't need water and hasn't injured himself - then I would try to keep toughing it out and not give him the attention he's seeking (or set the precedent that howling gets him that attention).

Easier said than done though!

ps. Whippets are sharp pointy dogs, and do not make great sofa or bed companions!

I took him downstairs to his downstairs pen/crate. We’ll see if he settles down there. He had a big drink of water so maybe it was thirst. (No water in upstairs crate as he just tips it up/spills it and there’s no room).

He was quiet from 12am until 7am downstairs in the pen 🙂
Will try that again.
