Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

What's the smoothest thing you can think of?

I want to make some badges to reward people for smooth pacing (see the 'Pacing' percentage on your training runs).

To help me design a couple of badges, can you help me come up with some good similes?

I'm thinking of stuff like "as smooth as a baby's backside", or "as smooth as Barry White drinking John Smiths".

I'll leave that with you.

But also... what's the highest pacing score you've had on your log? I typically get 94-95 on my consistent-paced runs, and managed a 96% just now. How about you?

Races usually - 94% in most recent, which over 26.2 miles I think is quite good, including round a cone and probably a faffed start shuffle across line, and post finish line failure to hit stop? :-) G

Given the nature of all my runs, it depends.

Last two races were both 0%. Though a training run over two big lumps on Saturday night was a surprising 66%.

Most of my easy road runs are 90-96%.

Is there anywhere to see your highest / a list?

To help me design a couple of badges, can you help me come up with some good similes?

Bit leftfield, but Michael Jackson's fedora from Smooth Criminal.

The Fonz would take some beating but Cary Grant might manage it. Topical too
