Fetchpoint - basically collect as many good things - gems etc, try and wipe out bad things like the red bugs - they score -4 points per day. Once out of your home circle you plant flowers they grow in points every time you run through them but can be "picked" by others and you both get points. Thats very much a précis of the game but catch my drift. There's a forum thread for it - Fetchpoint: The Game |

I tried to import a .zip file containing about 80 .gpx files, but none of them have shown up after 4.5 hours. Is this indicative that something went wrong or is this potentially expected for that quantity of data?

Bear
G'day fellow runners. Bear from Adelaide in South Australia here. Started running again at age 73, now 77. Can still run 5 k in around 30 minutes, 10 between an hour and an hour ten. My records since returning to running after a 45 year absence are 27:21 for 5 k, set last October at the Australian Masters. For the mile, which was my favourite distance when I was a bit younger, I set 7:01 at the State Masters last year. I've won a few medals along the way, which I'm proud of, but my greatest joy is in just being able to still run as I move into old age. I wrote a short book about my experiences as an older runner starting out again after that long break. I look forward to joining a community of like-minded people. |

Welcome both... I see Evan that you have a lot of training loaded for May 2020. Is that what you were loading? Bear - not only are those some great times, but that must be the biggest gap yet between giving up and returning to running! |

Welcome everyone. On the question of red bugs - you want to try and get rid of them. To do this log some training that goes through the bug AND leaves your 1 mile circle.

Evan, unlike other places, this one has a real person at the end of the phone/web form! Fetcheveryone himself (aka Ian Williams - I'm sure he won't mind me naming him, as it's all over his Twitter, Guardian article etc.) If *anything* doesn't work or you want help, you can fill in the Feedback form (Help ![]() fetcheveryone.com/feedback.php I have never done it, so uploading a zip might take a while. Welcome all new folk! ![]() |

Wow, Bear - 77 years old and a 45 year absence, 27 mins for 5km. That is an impressive return! ![]() |
